Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund drew 2-2 at the Allianz Arena on Saturday 31 October (kick-off 5:30pm GMT), bundesliga.com and Sky Sports reported.

Jobe Bellingham put the ball in the Bayern net in the 34th minute, but the goal was ruled out after a VAR check found Carney Chukwuemeka had collided with the goalkeeper. Konrad Laimer scored four minutes later after a pass from Michael Olise, who had hit the post in the 10th minute.

Harry Kane, playing his first game since winning the Ballon d’Or, hit the crossbar with a 57th-minute penalty. Serhou Guirassy equalised for Dortmund in the 60th minute, and Kane set up Dayot Upamecano to put Bayern back in front in the 66th minute.

Substitute Fábio Silva equalised in the 89th minute, and Bayern’s Lennart Karl hit the crossbar with the last kick of the game, Sky Sports said.

Sky Sports reported that Bayern were again without head coach Vincent Kompany, who is recovering, and that Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry went off injured in the first half.

Bayern and Niko Kovač’s Dortmund both have 18 points after eight games and are both unbeaten. Bayern stay top on goal difference.
