Corrections Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Truth Network Daily aims to publish accurate, sourced facts. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly.

What we correct

We correct errors of fact, such as wrong names, titles, numbers, dates, places or quotes, and statements that misrepresent a source. We also fix wrong attributions, broken source links and photo captions or credits that are inaccurate.

Spelling, grammar and formatting fixes that do not change the meaning are made without a note.

How corrections are made

  • We check the reported error against the original source or sources.
  • If the article is wrong, we fix the text in place. We do not quietly remove or rewrite the error without saying so.
  • We add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article stating what was wrong and what has been changed.
  • We update the article's "Updated" date.
  • If an error is serious enough that the main point of the article is wrong, we say so clearly at the top of the article as well as in the note.

We aim to correct confirmed errors as soon as possible, usually within one business day of confirming them.

Correction note format

Correction notes appear at the bottom of the article in this form:

Correction, 21 October 2026: An earlier version of this article said the vote took place on Tuesday. It took place on Wednesday.

Times and dates are in GMT (UTC).

Updates are different from corrections

News changes as events develop. When we add new information to a story that was accurate at the time it was published, we mark it as an update, not a correction.

Removing articles

We do not remove articles to hide mistakes. We may remove or edit content only where required by law or where it creates a real risk of harm to a person, and we will note that the change was made where it is lawful to do so.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with:

  • the link to the article;
  • what you believe is wrong;
  • a source or evidence, if you have one.

We review every report. We may not reply to every message, but every confirmed error will be corrected under this policy. If you are personally affected by the error, please say so and we will prioritise your report.
