Lazio come from behind to beat Cagliari and go clear at the top of Serie A; Como, Frosinone and Genoa also win
Andrea Pinamonti's 83rd-minute header gave Gennaro Gattuso's Lazio a 2-1 win and 28 points from 10 games, the club's best start, according to Lega Serie A. Como beat Venezia 1-0, Frosinone beat Torino 2-0 and Genoa won 2-1 at Lecce.
Lazio beat Cagliari 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday 1 November and are alone at the top of Serie A, Lega Serie A reported.
Cagliari led through Nzola in the 21st minute. Gustav Isaksen equalised in the 36th minute after a move involving Taylor and Noslin. Andrea Pinamonti, who came on for the injured Mattia Zaccagni early in the second half, headed the winner from a Pedraza cross in the 83rd minute. Cagliari’s Obert was sent off for a second yellow card in stoppage time.
Lega Serie A said Lazio’s 28 points from 10 games, with nine wins and a draw, is the best start in the club’s history. Sky TG24 said it is the first time Lazio have been top on their own since 2010-11. Inter lost the Milan derby on Saturday.
Elsewhere on Sunday, according to Sky TG24:
