A24’s documentary You Can See Everything reported $10.6 million at the US and Canadian box office over the Halloween weekend, narrowly ahead of Warner Bros and DC’s Clayface at $10.4 million, according to studio estimates reported by Deadline and Variety on Sunday.

The race for first place was still open. Deadline said some rival studios showed Clayface ahead over the three days by $200,000 to $500,000, and that final figures were due on Monday US time. Clayface took the most money on Halloween itself, Saturday, with about $4.3 million.

You Can See Everything, co-directed by Lance Oppenheim and featuring Nathan Fielder and former Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, fell 43% in its third weekend and has taken $63.9 million in North America. Clayface, directed by James Watkins, fell 57% in its second weekend to a domestic total of $44 million. Deadline said Clayface was first worldwide over the weekend with $22.8 million, for a global total of $83 million.

Laika’s animated Wildwood was third with $7.5 million, followed by Black Bear’s Wicker at $4.1 million and Paramount’s Street Fighter at $3.2 million. The concert film BTS: World Tour Arirang opened in sixth place with $2.8 million from 1,010 cinemas.

Deadline said all films combined took an estimated $62.2 million, down 38% from the previous weekend and the third-lowest weekend total of 2026; Variety, citing Rentrak, put the total at roughly $60 million. No major studio opened a wide release, with Halloween falling on a Saturday. Rentrak’s Paul Dergarabedian told Variety that a documentary reaching first place in its third weekend would be “a rare achievement for any film”.
