Saudi-led coalition says it intercepted a Houthi missile fired at the Eastern Province; Human Rights Watch says Houthi siege of Taizz may be a war crime
The coalition said Saudi air defences destroyed a ballistic missile launched toward the kingdom's Eastern Province early on Thursday, a day after Yemeni government forces said a Houthi attack on Aden airport injured civilians. Human Rights Watch said the Houthis' encirclement of Taizz had caused severe shortages of food, water and medicine; a Houthi spokesperson blamed government forces for the road closures.
